“The Non-Golfing Section of The Plantation, a Large Master Planned Community off Treeline Avenue in Fort Myers.”

Bridgetown at The Plantation is an upscale, newer development in the popular Treeline Avenue corridor of Fort Myers.

Treeline Avenue has convenient access to I-75 and RSW Airport but is tucked away from much of the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s close to grocery stores, shopping, Gulf Coast Town Center and Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). It’s also easy to head north to Colonial Boulevard or south to Daniels Parkway along Treeline.

Bridgetown at The Plantation has undergone many changes over the years. It’s development began in 2007 and didn’t stop during the housing crisis. Rather, the community has been steadily developed over the years. The original builder was Centex Homes but Pulte Homes is finishing the project.

Over time, buyers’ tastes change and home styles at Bridgetown have adapted to cater to these changes. One example of this is the newer small home offerings, as opposed to attached villas in order to maximize the natural sunshine by having windows on all four external walls of the homes.

Bridgetown Hall is the name of the community center which has recently undergone total transformation. The clubhouse has a resort pool and spa, Har-Tru tennis courts, children’s playground, barefoot bar, game room, bocce ball, fitness center and tons of activities with a busy social calendar. Bridgetown Hall was completed in 2017 after an official amenities split between Somerset and Bridgetown which are the two sub-developments of The Plantation.
