Island Park Woodlands is a non-gated boating community of single family homes off Island Park Road in South Fort Myers.
Most homes in Island Park Woodlands were built in the 1980’s and 1990’s (although newer homes also exist and have 3 bedrooms with 1,500-2,000 square feet). The annual HOA fees are next to nothing, but a deed of restrictions does exist which limits the number of leases per year allowed.
Island Park Woodlands is across the Ten Mile Canal from a community called The Harborage.
Most homes in Island Park Woodlands were built in the 1980’s and 1990’s although some newer homes and vacant lots exist. They are situated on regular to oversized parcels.
Street names in Island Park Woodlands include: Swords Way, Birnam Woods Lane, Perthshire Lane, Macbeth Lane, Blackfriar Drive, Taylor Drive, Lake Grasmere Way SW, Moorfield Drive and Boat Club Drive.

Island Park Road is located on the west side of US-41 South of Gladiolus Drive and North of Alico Road. Although there is a stoplight, most people do not realize the road is home to a myriad of boating communities. As such, it is a hidden gem in Fort Myers. If you like boating, being active, perhaps even shuffle board, this may be for you!
Island Park Road has Gulf access via the 10-mile canal which leads South to Estero Bay. Driving distance to area beaches are approximately 20-30 minutes and residents can choose to go North to Fort Myers or Sanibel or South to Bonita Beach.
