My Daughter Wrote Her First Blog-Her Favorite Things To Do In Fort Myers

Some of my favorite things to do in Fort Myers are go to trampoline parks! My two favorites are Defy and Sky Zone. It’s an amazing way to stay active and have fun. They have it all, from Ninja Warrior courses, to dodgeball, and trampoline basketball…it’s fun for all ages and genders!

Waterparks are refreshing way to beat the 90 degree summer heat of SWFL!!! So grab a bathing suit and come on down to Lakes Park in Fort Myers or Sun Splash in the Cape!!! Both of these fantastic waterparks are fun for all ages. They have little slides for your baby, the are daring enough for your boys, and tubing will be fun for the girls!!! It’s a great way to get out of the house and your kids will be begging for more!!!

Beaches are also extremely refreshing and a big thing here in Florida! No matter what location of SWFL you are in, you can find a beach near by! I mean…it’s what we are known for in the Sunshine State!

My three favorite kid friendly beaches are Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, and Captiva. Fort Myers Beach is probably closest, but all three are all beautiful and made to order a piña colada and sun bathe on!!!

Shopping is my favorite activity and some of you can agree…yours too! Do your kids love toys and stuffed animals? If they do Build-a-Bear and/or Toy World have a great selection for them all. For all you adults…Target, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby are craft and art stores. Target has everything from toys to bathing suits and home decor! Kohl’s and Beall’s are department clothing stores for the family. Barnes and Noble is a great book store with a Starbucks cafe.

Golfing is fun for the whole family whether a pro or not. Top Golf is all the rage…they offer all the clubs, targets to shoot and aim for, microchips used for tracking your balls yardage, and outstanding food! If you’re looking for a golf course that’s more upscale try Pop Stoke, a Tiger Woods facility. If mini golf is your thing… there’s an Animal golf or Pirate golf available also.

Are you looking for for a family restaurant for after you’re done with all these activities? If you want a good healthy Mexican made burrito…we got you! You have quite the selection with Moe’s, Chipotle, and 3 Peppers. Fast food stops include McDonalds, Culvers, Burger King, and  Dairy Queen. If your looking for Chinese/Japanese authentic food you have my favorites listed here: Osakas and Kumo both serve hibachi, sushi, and other great food! Dessert is also a part of the menu that is destined to remember! Dairy Queen and Culvers are two fast food restraunts that offer dessert. But if you want all the ice cream choices, I recommend Love Boat or Happy Sun! FYI…Pop Stroke offers over 60 flavors also.

Last but not least is self care. All you tired mothers need a relaxing massage, facial, mani-pedis. You need to sit in that chair, put your feet in hot water while it massages you!! Two luxury nail salons are Amy’s Nail Lounge and Bliss. I hope I listed enough details to get you and your kiddos going on the fun train!!!
