“Golfing and boating at some of the lowest prices in Lee County.”
Royal Woods is a non-gated community off Island Park Road in South Fort Myers comprised of single family homes, villas and condominiums. The community is walker-friendly, with sidewalks and bridges. All homes were built in the mid 1980’s.
The single family homes in Royal Woods are on Royal Woods Drive. These homes are typically 2-3 bedrooms, 1400-1700 square feet and sit on a very small parcel. They have an attached 1 or 2 car garage, but are detatched from each other. Thus, they look much like a villa but are owned like single family homes.
Condominiums in Royal Woods are located on Royal Woods Drive and Birchwood Lane. These 2-story buildings hold 8 units each. They are 1,000 to 1,100 square feet.
Villas in Royal Woods are located on Timber Oak Lane, Birchwood Lane and Royal Woods Drive. They are 1,000 to 1,200 square feet.

Island Park Road is located on the west side of US-41 South of Gladiolus Drive and North of Alico Road. Although there is a stoplight, most people do not realize the road is home to a myriad of boating communities. As such, it is a hidden gem in Fort Myers. If you like boating, being active, perhaps even shuffle board, this may be for you!
Island Park Road has Gulf access via the 10-mile canal which leads South to Estero Bay. Driving distance to area beaches are approximately 20-30 minutes and residents can choose to go North to Fort Myers or Sanibel or South to Bonita Beach.
