“Having an elevator in a townhouse community is rare, and with this home being close to HealthPark Hospital that could be very important to some owners.”
Sail Harbour is a gated townhouse community that’s located behind HealthPark Hospital, off Bass Road (between Summerlin Road and Gladiolus Drive) in South Fort Myers. HealthPark Hospital is one of the most sought after hospitals in Southwest Florida. It was named one of the “Top 100 Hospitals” in America for cardiology and intensive care. Recently opened within the HealthPark Campus is the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida, the only pediatric hospital of its kind between Tampa and Miami.
Sail Harbour has 473 residences, which range in size from 2 to 3 bedrooms (from about 1,700 to almost 2,000 square feet). The building are painted in a bright yellow and light orange alternating color scheme, with a Mediterranean-inspired theme. Each home has a one or two-car garage with a brick paver driveway. The corner units are larger, with larger garages, and elevators. Inside units have stairs.
Sail Harbour was developed between 2006-2007. The community has a central gathering area with a village cabana with pool and sundeck. The monthly Homeowner (HOA) Fees include the maintenance of the lawn, irrigation system, gate system, cable, pool and cabana and pest control. In addition, the community has additional fees on the ad valorem property taxes, as a Community Development District (CDD).
